all me optimistic but we’re in the midst of the perfect trifecta. Easter Bank Holiday is on the horizon, Spring has officially sprung and lockdown laws are slowly easing. In short, we can almost taste the freedom that awaits as we prepare to re-enter society. However, despite our tentative eagerness to fly the nest and get back out there, being at home has never looked better given the abundance of joyous spring decor ideas that will refresh and update any space.

If you’ve yet to dip your toe into the elaborate world of tablescaping, now is the perfect time. Mastering the art of table-setting, the trend grew exponentially during lockdown as we began dressing down but ironically started to dress the table up. With no hard and fast styling rules, striking hues of coloured glassware can sit atop brightly-trimmed, scallop edge placemats to create an inviting experience that can be as elaborate as you so choose.

The long Bank Holiday weekend surely calls for lovingly-cooked feasts with the family and flatmates you’ve been unable to escape from for the last 12 months and with the current return of the “Rule of Six”, if you secured the property lottery of having adequate outdoor space, you can now play host in your garden.

Although we may be melded to joggers for the next few weeks, with Tom Ford famously saying that dressing well was a form of a good manners, apply that principle to your dining table with our curated homeware edit and test out some of the ever-growing recipes you’ve yet to attempt on your Pinterest board.

We only include products that have been independently selected by The Stack editorial team. However, we may receive a portion of sales if you purchase a product through a link in this article.
