About Event Social housing and homelessness within our society is in desperate need of explicit understating from a gendered perspective. We must elevate conversation around the difficulties women and children face when it comes to adequate access to housing and the ramifications of societal structures upon women and their children. About Host Vicky Spratt is a freelance journalist, documentary maker and housing rights campaigner. Her 2016 campaign ‘Make Renting Fair’ highlighted the plight of 'Generation Rent’ and succeeded in getting letting fees for tenants in England banned. She writes for Refinery29, The i Paper, BBC, The Guardian and Evening Standard. Agenda Round table discussion.
